My Target Shopping Trip this week {+ parking lot mishap}

by Heidi on November 12, 2009

This week I headed out to Target {coupons in hand}, to take advantage of some of their great deals!

Now, if you follow me on Facebook, you’ll know the shopping trip went well, but once I got back to the parking lot I’d forgotten that I had driven my SUV. I then tried several times to get into someone else’s Honda {seriously, it was an identical twin of mine}. Oopsy!

Here’s how my shopping trip went…

  • Oral-B Indicator Toothbrushes: 2 for Free {used 2 $1/1 coupons & also a $1.50/2 Target coupon… now, if I could just remember where I stumbled across these coupons, I would tell ya!}
  • Welch’s Sparkling Juice 2 for 99 cents each {using 2 $2 off coupons}
  • Santa Mr. Potato Head Spud: 2 for 99 cents each {using 2 $5 off coupons}

So, I paid just over $4 with tax… and this is why I love coupons!

So mad my Target does not have the Santa Potato Heads – Couldn't find them anywhere and the employee had no idea what I was talking about!

I'm glad you posted a photo. I didn't know what the small size wipes looked like.

I found the Mr. Potato Head in the Christmas section of my Target.

I got a $.50 off coupon for the Betty Crocker potatos inside the freebie of Au Gratin potatos I got not long ago! Making them $.29 for me! Yay! :)

I got those same wipes today. At my Target in Boise they are limiting us to 5 identical Target coupons per trip. It is in order to not clear the shelf. I wasn't clearing the shelf but they still wouldn't let me get more than 5. I'll get them next time I'm there.
I looked for the Mr. Potato Head and couldn't find them in toys or in X-mas.

Today I used the $5 off coupon on the Santa Spud but it only took $0.75 off twice – so I got it for $4.49 :(

I only got 1 Mr. Potato Head toy and I went to 3 Targets! :( But, the coupon is good for awhile so it will stay in my wallet for future visits. ;) Same with the wipes. Thanks for the tips!!
